BEYOND the sea BOOK LAUNCH

The virtual book launch for Beyond the Sea has taken place. “It has been a few years in the making, and with many of the stories having achieved success in competition and accepted for publication in various contemporary journals and anthologies, I’m hopeful of the work being well-received… Much of the content is semi-autobiographical and remains close to my heart.”

The book launch for Fresh Ink 2019 - A collection of voices from Aotearoa New Zealand - was held at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Andrew was invited to read his award-winning short story, Morning Commute at the event.
Cutting Through - The Anthology Book Launch

The West Auckland Writers held their Cutting Through - The Anthology book launch at the Going West Literary Festival in Titirangi, Auckland. Andrew was invited to read from his short story, She's a Keeper at the event.
Winner of the West Auckland writing competition 2018

The story, Morning Commute was chosen as the winner of the West Auckland Writing Competition 2018. Members of the Titirangi Poets, Waitakere Writers and Green Bay Writers jointly judged the contest. In related news, the story has been accepted for publication as part of Cloud Ink’s 2019 Fresh Ink Anthology of New Zealand fiction.
